Reflection
Rest isn’t quitting — it’s trusting God enough to put something down. If you’ve been carrying stress, overthinking, grief, or exhaustion on your own, this is an invitation to bring it to Jesus instead of white-knuckling through it. He’s not asking you to be strong today. He’s asking you to come to Him.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for the invitation to rest in You. I release what I’ve been trying to carry alone — the pressure, the worry, the weight of it all. Teach me to trust You with it instead of holding on so tight. Give me Your peace, and remind me that I don’t have to labor for what You already freely give. Amen.
