“Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
1 Timothy 1:17 (KJV)
What 1 Timothy 1:17 means
Sometimes the best thing you can do is stop looking at yourself and simply praise God for who He is. He’s the King who never began and will never end, who never dies, who sees everything though we can’t see Him, and whose wisdom has no equal. A God that great is worthy of all your honour and glory. Let today be a day you lift your eyes off your problems and give Him praise.
Today’s prayer
Father, You are the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God. I lift my eyes off myself today and give You honour and glory for who You are. You are worthy of all my praise, now and forever. In Jesus’ name, amen.
