Ezra 10:4 KJV — Meaning, Reflection & Prayer

Daily Scripture · October 5, 2026

“Arise; for this matter belongeth unto thee: we also will be with thee: be of good courage, and do it.”

Ezra 10:4 (KJV)

What Ezra 10:4 means

There’s something in front of you right now that’s yours to do — and today God’s word to you is simple: arise and do it. Don’t shrink back, don’t keep putting it off, and don’t tell yourself you can’t. Take courage and take the step. And notice you’re not carrying it alone; God is with you, and He puts people around you too. The thing that belongs to you only moves when you rise up and begin.

Today’s prayer

Father, give me the courage to rise up and do what You’ve placed in front of me. Quiet my excuses and my fear, and remind me that I don’t do it alone — You are with me. I’ll take the step today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
