“Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
James 1:12 (KJV)
What James 1:12 means
When you hold steady through a hard season instead of giving up, that endurance is never wasted. God sees the pressure you’re standing under, and He has promised a reward — the crown of life — to those who keep loving Him through it. Staying faithful under the weight is itself the victory.
Today’s prayer
Father, when the pressure feels heavy, give me the strength to endure and not quit. Help me keep loving You through the trial, trusting that You see me and that Your promise holds. In Jesus’ name, amen.
