“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.”
Ezekiel 36:26 (KJV)
What Ezekiel 36:26 means
God doesn’t just ask you to change on your own — He offers to change you from the inside. He replaces a hard, worn-down heart of stone with a soft, living heart of flesh, and puts a new spirit in you. Wherever you’ve grown cold or stuck, invite Him to do the work only He can do: give you a fresh heart.
Today’s prayer
Father, give me a new heart and a new spirit today. Soften whatever has grown hard in me, take away the stone, and make my heart tender toward You and toward others. In Jesus’ name, amen.
