“I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.”
Hosea 14:5 (KJV)
What Hosea 14:5 means
God promises to be like morning dew to His people — quiet, steady refreshing. Under His care you don’t just bloom for a moment; you grow deep roots that hold. Let Him refresh you today, and trust Him to grow you strong from the roots up.
Today’s prayer
Lord, be like the dew over my life today. Refresh what has dried up in me, help me bloom where You have planted me, and grow my roots deep in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
