“Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.”
Joel 2:21 (KJV)
What Joel 2:21 means
After a hard season, God speaks over the very ground that was struggling: don’t be afraid — be glad and celebrate, because He is about to do great things. Whatever’s felt dry or barren in your life, borrow that same hope today. God specializes in turning things around and doing more than you’d expect.
Today’s prayer
Father, quiet my fear and fill me with gladness. I believe You are going to do great things — in the dry and difficult places of my life, and in the days ahead. Help me rejoice in expectation today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
