2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV — Meaning, Reflection & Prayer

Daily Scripture · October 10, 2026

“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”

2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV)

What 2 Corinthians 9:8 means

God’s grace isn’t rationed — it abounds. He doesn’t give you just enough to scrape by; He pours out more than enough so you always have all you need, in every situation, with plenty left over to pour into good work for others. You were never meant to run on empty.

Today’s prayer

Father, thank You that Your grace toward me is not measured out but overflowing. Give me all-sufficiency in every area, not so I can hoard it, but so I can abound in every good work. Make me a channel of Your abundance today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
