“Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.”
Micah 7:7 (KJV)
What Micah 7:7 means
When trouble surrounds you and help seems slow in coming, Micah shows you where to turn: fix your eyes on the LORD and wait for Him. Waiting isn’t giving up — it’s confident trust that the God of your salvation is at work and that He hears you. You’re not shouting into an empty sky. Keep looking up, keep waiting on Him, and hold on to this: my God will hear me.
Today’s prayer
Father, when I don’t know where else to turn, I turn to You. I’ll look to You and wait for You, the God of my salvation. Thank You that You hear me. Give me patience and confident hope as I trust You today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
