“Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
Mark 11:24 (KJV)
What Mark 11:24 means
Jesus links prayer with real, trusting faith. When you bring your needs to God, don’t pray with one hand while bracing for disappointment with the other — pray believing that He hears you and is already at work. This isn’t a formula for getting whatever you want; it’s an invitation to trust the good Father you’re praying to. Ask, believe He’s answering in His way and time, and leave it in His hands.
Today’s prayer
Father, teach me to pray with real faith and not just wishful words. I bring my needs to You today, believing that You hear me and are already at work for my good. Help me trust Your answer, Your way, and Your timing. In Jesus’ name, amen.
